When I was in Townsville with my family in mid-2020 between lockdowns, I took a shot of Picnic Bay, which used to be the ferry terminal jetty before Nelly Bay was developed. I first visited Picnic Bay in 1992 when I was in Townsville for a Chess Tournament and didn’t get back until 2009 and was shocked at how run down the waterfront was. Still looks beautiful from a distance though.
